 The WVML Board meets quarterly, with member municipalities hosting the board meetings in their respective cities across the state. The League Board of Directors has state-wide representation made up of four officers, eighteen mayors (six members from each congressional district, at least one of which is from a Class I-II City, and at least one from a Class III-IV City), two members are elected at large, three council members (one council member elected from each congressional district), three council members elected at large, two member city recorders and/or clerks at large, any Past Presidents who are currently an office holder of a member municipality, one City Manager, the League Executive Director, the West Virginia Municipal League Chaplain, the West Virginia Municipal League Parliamentarian, Auditor, the Executive Director and the Chaplain.
