The City of Winfield is seeking resumes for individuals interested in applying for an entry- level position for the City of Winfield Public Works Department. The successful applicant’s responsibilities will include assistance and assigned tasks involving the operation, maintenance and repair of the Citys streets, sanitary sewer system and related activities. The position will pay $ 14.00 an hour working a 4 day, 10 hour schedule and shall include all city benefits and a pay increase after the applicable probation period. Benefits include paid vacation, uniforms, boot allowance, PEIA health insurance, (supplemental accident, cancer insurance and retirement also available), Public Employees Retirement, and credit union participation. Economic Development Director for Huntington Municipal Development Authority. Work involves city-wide economic development efforts and implementation of City’s business promotion, attraction and retention programs. Must be knowledgeable of application of rules and regulations governing applicable federal programs, including HUD regulations. Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration; minimum 5 years experience in public and/or private economic development, CDBG administration, public administration and/or banking; and experience and exhibited ability in financial analysis. $95,000 to $115,000.00, negotiable based on experience and education; benefit package. Successful candidate must possess: minimum 5 years experience in public administration at executive level or similar corporate managerial experience; strong budgetary background; negotiating skills; a proven ability to manage people, organize community needs, and work with outside agencies.
