Legislative Policy Committee Nomination
The Legislative Policy Committee (LPC) provides the general legislative policy guidance to league staff. The committee is made up of (15) voting members with (5) seats designated for the League’s Executive Officers and the other (10) nominated and elected from amongst the WVML municipal membership.
The LPC meets monthly outside of the state legislative session to advance legislative policy discussions to recommend the League’s Board of Directors. And the LPC meets weekly during the legislative session to evaluate bills and work with the League’s staff to determine official WVML positions on legislation.
