Utility Service Partners Program
The National League of Cities (NLC) Service Line Warranty Program, administered by Utility Service Partners, Inc., has been a West Virginia Municipal League (WVML) Associate Member since 2008. Service Line Warranties of America is the consumer-facing brand for Utility Service Partners, Inc. As its name suggests, Service Line Warranties of America provides utility service line warranties both inside and outside the home. Service Line Warranties of America was also the 2018 winner of the Western Pennsylvania Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics and the 2015 recipient of the West Virginia Municipal League Conservation Award.
WVML supports the NLC Service Line Warranty Program for West Virginia communities for these reasons:
- The program educates homeowners as to their service line responsibilities.
- The added value of the service itself – studies show most homeowners have not set aside funds for unexpected line repairs.
- The program is offered at no cost to the cities, who often receive a share of the revenues collected.
- It is the only warranty program to solely market to residents with the city’s permission.
- It is the only warranty program endorsed by the National League of Cities.
The NLC Service Line Warranty Program partners with more than 500 cities in North America and has helped more than 173,000 homeowners save over $18 million in service line repair costs.
