Nominations are now open for the next $500,000 boost!

We’ve had so much fun and have been so inspired by this year’s Small Business Revolution on Main Street project that we’re going to do it again next year. If you live in, work in or just plain love an exceptional small town that could use a boost from Deluxe and the Small Business Revolution, nominate it today.

We’ll narrow the nominations down to a set of finalists and ask the public to vote for a winner, which will receive $500,000 worth of marketing services and support. As we saw first-hand in Wabash, that sort of support can make all the difference in the world.

Nominations are now being accepted for one small town to receive a $500,000 transformation and to be featured in a video series starring Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec.

The town that wins the “Small Business Revolution on Main Street” contest and its small businesses will receive a $500,000 revitalization in the form of one-on-one guidance from Herjavec; marketing and business services from Deluxe Corporation, a leading provider of small-business marketing services; and upgrades to the town’s public spaces.

This marks the second “Small Business Revolution on Main Street” contest, which awarded a $500,000 transformation to Wabash, Indiana, this summer. An award-winning film crew spent the summer in Wabash capturing the process, and the inspiring series just debuted at SmallBusinessRevolution.org. You can watch the series to see firsthand the amazing impact that the program could have on your town.

In addition to the $500,000 transformation and video series, the winning town will receive major publicity: The initial contest was covered in the Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, Entrepreneur, and many other major media outlets across the country.

Nominations are open through Friday, Oct. 21 and take only a few minutes to complete.

The finalist announcement is planned for February, at which point the American public will vote to determine the final winner. Eligible towns must have fewer than 25,000 residents, and anyone can nominate a town, whether they live there or not.

More details appear at SmallBusinessRevolution.org, and here’s the nomination page. Please share this opportunity with anyone who you believe may be interested, and let me know if you have any questions.
