The West Virginia Purchasing Division has some good news for you! After evaluating the responses from our recent survey to local government entities, many indicated that they would be interested in attending a free event in your area to learn more about the programs and services that the Purchasing Division can provide your organization.
On Friday, October 27, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, West Virginia Purchasing Division representatives will be at the Beckley State Office Building at 407 Neville Street in Beckley, WV, to present valuable information on programs and services available to you, including the West Virginia State Agency for Surplus Property programs, availability of statewide contracts for many commonly-used items, training opportunities and more.
With space limited to 80 individuals, registration is required. Please register by emailing Purchasing.Requisitions@wv.gov with your name, organization, address and your preferred email address.
If you have any questions about this event, please do not hesitate to contact Diane Holley-Brown at Diane.m.holley@wv.gov. To subscribe to our mailing list, please visit http://www.state.wv.us/admin/purchase/LocalGovt/Subscribe.html.
We are excited to come to the Beckley area to share important information that could save your local government agency resources and dollars. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
State Auditor J.B. McCuskey, through his Local Government Services Division, is pleased to extend this invitation to the Annual Training Seminars for Municipal Officials and Assistants during the months of September and October at various locations throughout West Virginia.
